We are busy propagating one of the newest Haskaps to be released in 2016 from the University of Saskachewan's Fruit Program. Boreal Blizzard has large, firm berries that average 2.8g and can be as large as 3.9g. The fruit holds on to the plant well after ripening. Read more here.
Another new Haskap from the University of Saskatchewan's Fruit Program will be released in 2017. Boreal Beauty is a late ripening variety with heavy, firm berries that average 2.6g and can be as large as 3.7g. This variety also has strong upright branches making them suitable for mechanically harvesting. Read more here.
